Safelay™ is a mattress and pillow protection and encasement solution developed by Featherlay® to protect your guests and extend lifespan of your mattresses and pillows.
It’s important, perhaps more than ever in the current context, to take all possible preventive measures to protect your guests and in the same time to expand the life span of your mattresses and pillows.
Expanding life span of mattresses and pillows has also a positive impact on environment, generating less waste and less microfibers ending up in nature. Nevertheless will save you money.
How does Safelay™ protect your guests?
Body fluids like sweat, saliva, tears, mucus etc. can contaminate your mattress and pillows trough the usual bed sheet and pillow cover and the mattress/pillow can become a breeding ground for micro -organisms, bacteria, viruses. Your guests head, nose, mouth, eyes are touching the hotel pillow during sleeping and the micro-organisms can infect them or trigger allergies.
Safelay™ is acting like a barrier due to the double layer structure , on one side the waterproof film layer won’t let the body fluids to get into the mattress/pillow where they can develop, while on the other side is soft and comfortable.
Extending the lifespan of your mattresses and pillows
The main reason why mattresses and pillows are getting deteriorated is sweat, saliva, mucus and other body fluids which will cause stains and odours.
